Sister Anne Moriarty, O.P.

A funeral Mass for Sinsinawa Dominican Sister Anne Moriarty is expected to be offered June 26 at Queen of the Rosary Chapel in Sinsinawa, Wis. Sister Anne died June 9. She was 78.
A native of New York City, Sister Anne professed first vows in 1955 and final vows in 1958. Her service included teaching home economics at the former Archbishop Keough High School in Baltimore from 1982 to 1983.
Sister Anne also served in Washington, D.C.; Illinois; Minnesota; Wisconsin; Nebraska; California; and Hawaii. She served as a culinary artist for 15 years, ministered to the elderly for a decade, taught home economics for eight years and taught English as a Second Language for three years.
