evJames B. Sellinger
Chancellor of Education
James Sellinger leads the Department of Catholic Schools and is responsible for the effective management, academic excellence, sustainability, and reputation of the elementary and secondary schools in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. Prior to his current leadership role at the Archdiocese of Baltimore, Mr. Sellinger was an executive with the IBM Corporation and retired in December, 2012 after a 35 year career.

Dr. Barbara Edmondson
Superintendent of Catholic Schools
Dr. Barbara Edmondson began her professional career in higher education a senior administrator and adjunct professor at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. where she earned her doctorate. Prior to her appointment as superintendent in 2010, she served as a principal for both the Archdioceses of Washington and Baltimore.

Dr. Camille Lewis Brown
Associate Superintendent for School Leadership and Community Programs
Dr. Camille Lewis Brown holds a B.A. in History from Franklin and Marshall College, an M.A. in Theology from St. Charles Borromeo Seminary and a PH.D. in Educational Administration from Boston College. Dr. Brown founded the Bakhita Fund to provide educational assistance to children around the world. She has been a missionary to Africa for 17 years and taught for 11 years at St. Charles Seminary in Philadelphia. During her 27 years in Catholic education, Dr. Brown has been a teacher, principal, author, lecturer and leader. She has penned many articles and four books, most notably, African Saints, African Stories: 40 Holy Men and Women.

M. Margaret Dammeyer
Associate Superintendent for Curriculum and Professional Development
Margaret Dammeyer earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master of Education in School Administration and Supervision both from the University of Maryland. With 25 years of experience in elementary education, she has served as teacher, assistant principal, principal (K-8) and associate superintendent.

Christopher Cosentino
Associate Superintendent of Secondary Schools and Government Programs
Chris Cosentino formerly worked as the Interim Director, Executive Associate for Secondary Schools, at the National Catholic Education Association (NCEA). Prior to that, he was a principal at St. John’s Catholic Preparatory School. Chris returned to the Archdiocese in 2015, to serve as the Associate Superintendent of Secondary Schools and Government Programs.

Joe Oleszczuk
Director of Educational Technology
Joe Oleszczuk is an experienced educator, technology enthusiast, and responsible for developing and implementing a standardized robust technology platform across all schools in support of Archdiocesan curriculum.

 

Denise M. Garman
Director of Student Support Services
Denise Garman, LCSW-C, joined the Department of Catholic Schools in 2015, from Catholic Charities where she served as a school counselor at both Resurrection St. Paul School and Holy Angels Catholic School. Denise has worked in the field of social work, special education, and school counseling services for many years in the Baltimore area.

 

Laura Mooney
Director of Enrollment Management
Laura Mooney holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration degree from the University of Notre Dame, as well as a Masters of Arts in Teaching degree from Notre Dame of Maryland University. She started her career in the OperationTEACH program and continued taught in the Archdiocese for eight years. In 2016, Laura transitioned to the Catholic Center to work with schools on strategies and initiatives to sustain and grow enrollment.

Dr. Eric Watts
Director of Instruction and Student Achievement
Dr. Eric Watts received a Ph.D. from the University of Maryland College Park, a M.A. from Johns Hopkins University, and a B.A. from St. Mary’s College of Maryland. Before joining the Department of Catholic Schools, Dr. Watts was the Director of Career and Technical Education at The Urban Assembly in New York City. Prior to that, he was a Senior Program Officer at the National Institute for Work and Learning in Washington DC.

Sunda M Cramer
Student Systems Application Manager
Sunda Cramer graduated from the University of Baltimore with an International Business degree. She has been with the Archdiocese of Baltimore since 2001.

 

 

Darnell Nathaniel
Regional Information Technology Coordinator
Darnell Nathaniel holds Master’s degrees from Goucher College and Towson University, as well as his Bachelors degree from Morgan State University. He is a native Baltimorean, with passions centered around growing his IT skills and encouraging young people. Darnell joined the Department of Catholic Schools in 2016.

Kristin Pinkowski
Operation TEACH Coordinator
Kristin Pinkowski serves as the Assistant Director for the Operation TEACH program, located at Notre Dame of Maryland University. After teaching middle school social studies and religion at St. Joan of Arc School in Aberdeen, Kristin now supports Operation TEACH program participants through their two year service to Archdiocese of Baltimore Catholic Schools and within intentional community living.

Jane M. McClure
Administrative Assistant to Associate Superintendent for School Leadership and Community Programs
Jane McClure has worked at the Catholic Center for 23 years for the Department of Catholic Schools. In addition to general support of the entire Department, Jane provides assistance to Associate Superintendent Dr. Brown.

 

Lauron Thomas
Administrative Assistant to the Chancellor

Lauron Thomas earned her Bachelor degree in English from Coppin State University. Lauron has been working in the Catholic Center since 2013 and joined the Department of Catholic Schools in 2014 as an assistant to Chancellor Sellinger.

 

Landy Glenn
Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent
Landy Glenn holds a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from University of Maryland Baltimore County. Before joining the Department of Catholic Schools in January 2013, Landy worked for 12 years at School of the Incarnation in Special Projects. Landy assists Superintendent Dr. Edmondson and provides support to the entire Department of Catholic Schools.

 

Lauren Robinson
Director of Marketing
Lauren Robinson is a graduate of Towson University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and a minor in Electronic Media and Film. She possesses a background in both corporate and non-profit marketing. Lauren has been with the Archdiocese of Baltimore since 2012, and at the Catholic Center since 2016.

 

April Bain
Fiscal Accountability Manager
April Bain is the Fiscal Accountability Manager for the Child Nutrition Program. She has worked for the Archdiocese of Baltimore since August 2000.

 

 

Isabelle Gerber
Child Nutrition Program (CNP) Supervisor
Isabelle Gerber oversees all aspects of the school meal programs for the schools that participate in the Archdiocese of Baltimore CNP. Isabelle supervises the food service staff of day-to-day operations, enforce USDA requirements and guidelines, menu planning, food production, sanitation, customer service, record keeping, marketing, professional development, and evaluates the program in order to meet the nutritional needs of the children, as they relate the to the CNP.
