Respect Life group to host Mother/Daughter Tea in Westminster

Calling all mothers, grandmothers, aunts and girls ages 12-18: Try a new twist on teatime.

Hosted by the Respect Life Ministry of St. John in Westminster, the second annual Mother/Daughter Tea will focus on chastity and other topics relevant to girls today.

Christine Friedrich from Generation Life will speak about “Healthy Peer Relationships, Chastity and Vocations.” Rachel Harkins, campus minister at Mount de Sales Academy in Catonsville, will speak about “Facebook, Texting and the Safe Way of Using Them.”

Additionally, attendees will enjoy desserts, tea, punch and the chance to win door prizes.

The tea will be held March 22 from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at the St. John Portico.

Tickets are $5 each, and tables of eight or 10 are available by request.
