Join us for a two-day workshop on disability training for Catholic formation leaders by Dr. Mirian Ofonedu, PhD, LCSW-C, the director of training at the Maryland Center for Developmental Disabilities at Kennedy Krieger Institute. She is an Associate Professor at the University of Maryland, Baltimore and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health’s Department of Mental Health. Dr. Ofonedu is a psychologist, a licensed clinical social worker and a fellow of the American Psychological Association. Her training, clinical and research work spans across two decades. The Maryland Center for Developmental Disabilities (MCDD) at Kennedy Krieger Institute is committed to training and equipping faith leaders with the necessary knowledge, skills, and resources to foster disability inclusion and a sense of belonging and community participation that improves the quality of life, health, and well-being of people with intellectual, developmental, and other disabilities and their families.
