Official clergy assignments for July and August 2013

Archbishop William E. Lori announces the following assignments: 

Reverend Ugochukwu J. Cletus, SSJ, from Administrator to Pastor of Saint Veronica Parish, effective Aug. 1. Father Cletus, 41, a native of Nigeria, was ordained a Josephite priest in 2011. In his diaconal ministry, Father Cletus served at St. Luke in Washington, D.C., then as parochial vicar of Our Mother of Mercy and Blessed Sacrament Parishes in Beaumont, Texas, before serving as administrator of St. Veronica.

Reverend Jean-Pierre Kapumet, C.S.Sp., to Associate Pastor of Saint Edward Parish, effective Aug. 15.

Reverend Albert Patrick Duggan, O.P., to Hospital Chaplain at Johns Hopkins Hospital, effective July 1.

Reverend Jon Kightlinger from leave of absence to Prison Ministry in Alleghany County, effective Aug. 19.

Deacon Douglas Nathan from Diaconal ministry at Saint Katharine Drexel to Diaconal ministry at Saint John the Evangelist in Frederick, became effective July 1.

Deacon Kevin Reid to Deacon Liaison to the Division of Clergy Personnel, in addition to the Diaconal ministry at Immaculate Conception Parish in Towson, effective July 1.
