Media Guidelines for Funeral of Sgt. 1st Class Bohle

The funeral Mass for Sgt. 1^st Class Bradley Bohle, an Army Green Beret medic serving in the 3^rd Division, 7^th Special Forces Group in Afghanistan, will be held on Monday, October 5 at 10 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, located at 801 Stevenson Road in Severn. At the request of the Bohle family, no members of the media will be permitted inside the church during the funeral.

Media may conduct interviews outside the church in the designated media area (see instructions below).

Media Parking:Media are asked to park vehicles on the main church parking lot.  No media vehicles will be permitted to park in the driveway directly in front of the church.

Live shots/interviews:Any interviews must be conducted inside the designated media space. Media are asked to set up and remain in the grassy area across the main driveway, directly opposite the front of the church.

News helicopters:Please have news helicopters hover at a respectful distance, so as not to disrupt the solemnity of the occasion.
