Equip for Ministry

Our word catechesis comes from the Greek katekhesis, to “instruct by word of mouth.”

Christ is God the Father’s one, perfect Word. In him God has said everything.

For 2,000 years the Church has been passing on to each new generation the instruction given us by the Lord Jesus. This is our mission in the Faith Formation Ministry.

Our efforts are aimed at children and adolescents, as well as adults and even those in old age, since no amount of learning could ever begin to comprehend the breadth and length and height and depth of God and his love for us.

In addition to catechizing those born into the Catholic faith, we provide resources for those who would like to learn more about the Catholic Church and what the Church believes. We accompany those who have found the fullness of truth in the Church and desire to become Catholic.
