SUMMARY:18th Annual Race to Embrace Independence
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 18th Annual Race to Embrace Independence 5K to be held at Marian House on Saturday\, September 26\, 2026 – race day registration begins at 7:30am and the race begins at 9:00am. All proceeds support women overcoming homelessness at Marian House. Marian House is a transitional and permanent housing and support services program for homeless and formerly incarcerated women and their children located in the Better Waverly neighborhood of Baltimore City. The race will begin and end at Marian House. There is also a 1-mile fun run and a dance party in the parking lot. Awards will be given to the largest team\, largest fundraiser and more. You can still register and join us for a great morning. All proceeds from the race directly benefit the women served by Marian House. \nFor more information or to register for the race\, visitwww.marianhouse.org/5K.Individuals unable to make the race\, but still interested in supporting Marian House can make a donation online at www.marianhouse.org/donate.
