DESCRIPTION:Day Retreat to Honor Our Blessed Mother\, to “Walk with Mary\, Queen of Peace” with opportunity to enroll in the Brown Scapular. Saturday October 10 at the Basilica in Emmitsburg. Please come\, bring your family\, bring your friends. Bring your own lunch. Beginning at 9am there will be Morning Prayer\, Adoration\, spiritual talks\, time for personal reflection\, the Carmelite Six-Decade Rosary and Mass with Bishop Evelio Menjivar of Wheeling-Charleston. Opportunities for confession. Bring your Brown Scapular and be Enrolled by a priest. Msgr Charles Mangan\, once spiritual director to Carmelite Nuns now an associate professor at Mount St. Mary’s seminary\, will offer talks about the Blessed Mother. This is for everyone\, for those who wear the Brown Scapular\, and all drawn to prayer. The Day will culminate with Mass at 4pm. Organized by Carmelite Seculars. We ask a goodwill offering of $20.
