SUMMARY:Retreat for Caregivers
DESCRIPTION:Uncovering the Blessings of the Caregiver Journey – A Day of Retreat & Reflection. This spring\, spend some intentional time in sacred community with fellow caregivers\, being reaffirmed and supported as a caregiver for someone with a long-term illness or condition. Throughout the program\, participants will be invited to engage in storytelling\, prayer/meditation\, writing\, and other contemplative exercises that validate the caregiver’s experience and provide therapeutic tools for the ongoing commitment of caregiving. The morning and afternoon sessions will envelop the themes of caregiver grief\, healing\, and hope within each participant’s respective circumstances\, while also envisioning endurance and renewal. R Lunch is included. Guided by Gordon Creamer. Bon Secours also offers a bi-monthly support group for caregivers on Zoom in January\, March\, May\, July\, September and November.
