DESCRIPTION:As our nation commemorates our 250th anniversary\, join the Charles Carroll Legacy Gala on Sunday\, August 2\, at the historic Charles Carroll House & Gardens in Annapolis. \nThis special evening honors Charles Carroll of Carrollton—the only Catholic signer of the Declaration of Independence—and celebrates the enduring contribution of the Catholic faith to American public life.   August 2 marks the very day Charles Carroll of Carrollton signed the Declaration of Independence in 1776.  Guests will enjoy a reception and inspiring program highlighting Carroll’s witness. The event benefits the Faithful Citizenship Institute\, a nonprofit based in Annapolis\, whose mission is to form Catholic leaders in the Church’s social teaching for faithful service in public life. \nAll are welcome.
