SUMMARY:The Towson University Choirs at Immaculate Heart of Mary
DESCRIPTION:The Towson University Choirs (University Chorale\, Treble Voices\, and Men’s Chorus)\, under the direction of Diana Saez and Stephen Holmes\, return to the concert series to present a varied program of choral classics and new works. The program will include selections from Brahms “German” Requiem\, spirituals\, Appalachian folk songs\, and sea shanties. Featured composers will include Z. Randall Stroope\, Susan LaBarr\, Ralph Vaughan Williams\, and Pablo Casals.

DESCRIPTION:Back by popular demand\, Baltimore Concert Opera will present two outdoor concerts this month\, titled BCO in the Open Air. The open-air\, bring-your-own-chair concerts will star soprano Christine Lyons\, mezzo-soprano Kate Farrar\, and bass-baritone Harold Wilson\, accompanied by pianist Joy Schreier. The concert will run 45-50 minutes and will feature an array of operatic favorites from Puccini to Tchaikvosky\, to classic musical theater hits. \nTickets are sold as “pods” which accommodate up to four people that will be placed 6-ft apart from one another. Social distancing and other safety measures will be in full effect for artists\, audiences and staff for all live BCO concerts this season.
