SUMMARY:148th Clarksville Picnic
DESCRIPTION:We invite everyone to enjoy the Clarksville Picnic—the oldest picnic in Maryland and one of the largest parish festivals in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. In 2026\, we celebrate the 148th year of this beloved tradition! \nWhat began as a simple harvest celebration has grown into a can’t-miss summer event featuring:\n• Live music\n• Famous White Elephant (Howard County’s largest yard sale!) [Sales start Wed\, June 17]\n• 50/50 cash raffle\, quilt raffle & silent auction\n• Kids’ games\, bounce houses & rock climbing wall\n• The ever-popular Swan Ride\n• Pony & Hay Rides\n• Bingo\, cake stand\, plant sale\, and so much more! \nAt the heart of it all is our iconic meal tent\, serving thousands each year with our famous fried chicken dinner—complete with a legendary cucumber salad recipe that’s been a Picnic staple for over 60 years. \nThis event is powered by hundreds of dedicated volunteers—many families returning year after year—making it a true celebration of faith\, community\, and local history. Bring your family\, invite your friends\, and be part of this joyful tradition. \nDetails at: clarksvillepicnic.com
