SUMMARY:Damascus Summer Camp
DESCRIPTION:Damascus Summer Camp is now in Maryland! \nToo many young people today are abandoning faith and desperate for hope. Like St. Paul on the road to Damascus\, they need an encounter with Jesus to transform them and invite them to become the next generation of missionary disciples. \nDamascus Summer Camp seeks to bring that hope to as many youth\, young adults and families as possible. Over the last 25 years a humble parish-based effort has grown from 63 campers and a handful of volunteers to a national movement where over 50\,000 participants each year are invited to live the adventure of the Catholic faith through world-class camps\, conferences\, retreats and events. \nThe camp runs June 7 – July 31 at the Summit Lake Camp location. Visit the website to learn more about volunteering and weeks for different age groups this year. \nLearn more and register today!

SUMMARY:Carmelite Weekend Retreat
DESCRIPTION:This Carmelite weekend retreat is led by Carmelite Father Ambrose Ekeroku\, OCD\, and has as its theme “A Vocation\, both Contemplative and Apostolic”. The retreat will foster in us a deeper\, contemplative\, and unitive prayer life\, drawing on the 800-year-old tradition of the Order of Carmelites and the teachings of Carmelite saints\, focusing on prayer and union with God. We will have opportunities for silence and solitude\, time and space for quiet\, allowing for personal reflection and deeper union with God. There will be Mass\, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament\, participation in the Divine Office and reconciliation. Father Ambrose and his brother friars will give conferences and lead contemplative reading of Scripture. We will pray the Carmelite six-decade rosary\, reflecting the Carmelite devotion to Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

SUMMARY:Summer TMIY 2026
DESCRIPTION:“Lectio: The Case for Jesus\,” a video study program from the Augustine Institute presented by Brant Pitre\, Ph.D. Do you follow Jesus ‘on the way?’ Can we trust the Gospels? Do we really know who wrote them? Do the Gospels communicate truth\, or fabricated fables? Who is Jesus?  Join Dr. Pitre as he draws evidence from both early Christian and non-Christian writings attesting to the authenticity\, authorship\, and dating of the Gospels\, as he gives an in-depth look at the Gospel accounts of Jesus’s Crucifixion\, Resurrection\, and the proclamation of Christ’s divinity. Strengthen your faith so that you can not only stand firm and profess that Jesus truly is “the Christ\, the Son of the living God\,” but also confidently respond to any skeptics you encounter. Watch the trailer on Formed: app.formed.org/app/videos/1343209. We will meet 7—8:30a.m. in Cottage 1 next to the playground on the nine Saturday mornings of: May 30\, June 6\, June 20\,\nJune 27\, July 11\, July 18\, Aug. 1\, Aug. 8\, and Aug. 15.
