SUMMARY:Retreat for Caregivers
DESCRIPTION:Uncovering the Blessings of the Caregiver Journey – A Day of Retreat & Reflection. This spring\, spend some intentional time in sacred community with fellow caregivers\, being reaffirmed and supported as a caregiver for someone with a long-term illness or condition. Throughout the program\, participants will be invited to engage in storytelling\, prayer/meditation\, writing\, and other contemplative exercises that validate the caregiver’s experience and provide therapeutic tools for the ongoing commitment of caregiving. The morning and afternoon sessions will envelop the themes of caregiver grief\, healing\, and hope within each participant’s respective circumstances\, while also envisioning endurance and renewal. R Lunch is included. Guided by Gordon Creamer. Bon Secours also offers a bi-monthly support group for caregivers on Zoom in January\, March\, May\, July\, September and November.

DESCRIPTION:Join UMBC Catholic Retrievers Campus Ministry for their 2nd Annual Legacy Dinner. The Legacy Dinner is an opportunity to celebrate the Catholic Retrievers and support this important ministry for the future. The dinner will be held in Canton on May 2\, 2026. Doors open at 6:45 p.m.\, Dinner begins at 7:00 p.m. (along with a silent auction; dinner is served throughout the night)\, the program begins at 8:00 p.m.\, with live action\, dessert\, and dancing to follow! The UMBC Catholic Retrievers provides young people with guidance\, encouragement\, formation\, and pastoral care as they discern their life’s meaning and mission. It regularly serves over 300 college students\, offering them faith and human formation\, weekly worship opportunities (daily Mass\, adoration\, etc.)\, retreats\, service trips\, and fellowship and accompaniment through social events\, small groups\, and mentorship.
