The Yellow Boat

St. Maria Goretti Catholic High School is proud to present The Yellow Boat, an incredible play based on the life of eight-year-old Benjamin Saar and his ability to overcome emotional and physical distress through art. The beauty that Benjamin created in the face of illness is re-imagined in this production through story-telling, creative movement, and physical theatre. This production is recommended for children ages eight and older, parents, families and adults. Sam Little, the Director says, “this show is very special. The style is unlike most productions seen in the Hagerstown area. It is intimate, thought-provoking, ensemble-based, and deeply moving. It examines the power of art and the strength of the human spirit.”
