The Little Mermaid

Celebrating its 30th Anniversary, Disney’s The Little Mermaid follows Ariel (sophomore Logan Dixon), a mermaid princess, who is fascinated with life on land. Despite being forbidden from going to the surface by her father, King Triton (junior Matthew Walsh), Ariel and her best friend Flounder (sophomore Arianna Camper) and eccentric seagull pal Scuttle (junior Thomas Crabtree) go to the surface and witness a ship get caught in a storm. Ariel rescues one of the humans, Prince Eric (junior Jayden Maduro) and immediately falls in love with him. Her friend and mentor Sebastian (freshman Daniel Jones) tries to convince her that the human world is a mess and life is better under the sea. Despite his best efforts, Ariel makes a deal with her aunt, the evil sea witch Ursula (senior Natalia Pereira) to become human for three days. Desperate for revenge, Ursula and her sidekicks Flotsam (freshman Delin Deen) and Jetsam (junior Alexis Baldwin) do everything they can to sabotage Ariel’s quest for true love.
