Pro-Life Pilgrimage to the Saint John Paul II National Shrine in DC

Join the Office of Respect Life and other Respect Life ministry participants in a pilgrimage to the Saint John Paul II National Shrine on December 7, 2019. This pilgrimage is free. We will meet at the Shrine at 10am for Mass in the Luminous Mysteries Chapel followed by a Rosary. Our celebrant and homilist will be Fr. James Brent, O.P., a Dominican from the Dominican House of Studies who has been a spiritual leader for USCCB Pro-Life Activities conferences in the past. He will also lead us in a reflection with confession following. We have lunch at the Shrine (please bring your own) and then in the afternoon take a self-guided tour of Saint John Paul II exhibit, followed by relic veneration and prayer. The day will end with a Divine Mercy Chaplet. This event is open to all, so feel free to invite family and friends.
