Back after a hiatus due to COVID, all teens are invited to join us for MOUNT2000, “Kenosis: Make Room for God.”
This weekend retreat includes Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, Confession, exciting nationally known speakers and musicians, and breakout sessions led by seminarians. MOUNT2000 will be February 3-5, 2023, at Mount Saint Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Maryland. Make plans to join us for this inspirational event by going to mount2000.com.
For many years, Mount Saint Mary’s Seminary has hosted a weekend Eucharist-focused retreat for teens called MOUNT2000 https://www.mount2000.com/ This event is entirely organized by the seminarians. Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, 2,000 teens from surrounding states gathered annually for this weekend, which includes Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, Confession, exciting nationally known speakers and musicians, and breakout sessions for the teens led by seminarians. The beautiful hillside campus of Mount St. Mary’s University provides the perfect setting for this inspirational event. Since the event could not be held during the pandemic, the seminarians are eager to present this weekend retreat once again in February 2023 for high school teens. Please mark the dates for this event on your parish, school, and youth event calendars. We also ask that you share information on this retreat with your families. The theme for the 2023 MOUNT2000 retreat, selected by the seminarians, is “Kenosis: Make Room for God.”
