Lisa Weiss, Piano and Bagus Wiswakarma, Violin

Violinist Bagus Wiswakarma and pianist Lisa Weiss, faculty members at Opus Community Music School, team up to perform Hungarian composer Bela Bartok’s fiery “Romanian Folk Dances” (1915) and Franco-Belgian composer Cesar Franck’s monumental Sonata in A major (1886). Dr. Weiss, Professor Emeritus of Music at Goucher College, will offer brief remarks on each work.

During the COVID19 Pandemic, Immaculate Heart of Mary’s concert series will continue. We will be hosting our concerts virtually and via live stream. As safety permits, we hope to be able to offer concerts later in the season, in person as well as available on live stream as needed.
