Catholic school superintendents plead for support

Catholic school superintendents wrote to Governor Martin J. O’Malley, Dec. 13, asking Maryland’s leader to support initiatives that will help Catholic school families and teachers.

The letter, which highlighted the many contributions of Catholic schools, was signed by Dr. Ronald J. Valenti, superintendent of Catholic schools for the Archdiocese of Baltimore, the superintendents for the Archdiocese of Washington, D.C., and the Diocese of Wilmington, Del., and Mary Ellen Russell, deputy director of the Maryland Catholic Conference.
