What is Theology-on-Tap?
Theology-on-Tap is a casual meeting of friends to learn and talk about the teachings of the Catholic Church. The mission of the program is to present all Young Adults "straight talk, hard facts and real answers" on our faith, and how it affects our lives, our neighborhood and our world.

Theology-on-Tap takes place on Monday nights for six weeks. There is a Fall session during November and December and a Spring Session during March and April. The meetings take place at Max's on Broadway. Each gathering has open taps, great friends and excellent speakers.

When did Theology-on-Tap begin?
The program originated in the Archdiocese of Chicago in 1981 for young adults. Programs now exists across the United States, especially Washington, D.C., Atlanta, and Boston.

Is Theology-on-Tap only a "Diocesan Thing"?
No, as a matter of fact in Columbia, Canton, Cockeysville and Fredrick parishes are beginning their own Theology on Tap's! If you are interested, please call Kristin.

Is discussing theology in a bar allowed by the Church?
The Pope has no problems with Theology-on-Tap. We are told to spread to gospel where the people are. The environment provided by Theology-on-Tap makes it easy for young adults to chat about the Church.

Besides Catholics in their 20s and 30s, who else can come?
Everyone is welcome: Catholics, non-Catholics, drinkers, non-drinkers. However, Catholics in their 20s and 30s are who the program is geared toward.
