Pilgrimage 2010 will be held on Saturday, March 27th. Join Archbishop O’Brien, our auxiliary Bishops and over 1,000 young pilgrims on the streets of Baltimore as we begin Holy Week with rally, Eucharistic Adoration, Rosary, and the Palm Sunday Vigil liturgy. This year, the day will begin with the Sacrament of Reconciliation offered during registration and the rally. Nationally recognized OCP recording artists Andy Andino and Who Do You Say I Am will be with us on this day of pilgrimage, prayer, and passion. Micah 6:8 - A weekend experience for a parish or school to provide training and reflection for a team of young people dedicated to social justice.
High School Leadership Institute (High LI) is an annual week long summer leadership development program in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. It is held at the Msgr. O'Dwyer Retreat House in Sparks, Maryland. Catholic youth, entering grades 10 to 12 in the next school year, have the opportunity to live and pray in community while learning how to be more competent and effective leaders in their parishes and schools. Offer a "Testimony of Charity" at Catholic Lobby Night on February 15th Join Maryland's bishops and hundreds of fellow Catholics on Presidents' Day - Monday, February 15th - for the 26th Annual Catholic Lobby Night in Annapolis, where this year's theme of "Testimony of Charity" is drawn from Pope Benedict's recent encyclical. Lobby Night is an advocacy event that gives Catholic voters the opportunity to speak in person with their elected officials about issues including: support for pregnant women, poverty, Catholic schools, and marriage.
