In February 2009, Archbishop Edwin O'Brien appointed a Blue Ribbon Committee on Schools to develop a strategic plan for the
long-term sustainability of Catholic education in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. The Committee is comprised of some of the most well known and
highly respected area leaders -- Catholic and non-Catholic alike -- in education, business, government, and philanthropy. The Committee meets
monthly and is expected to present a report to the Archbishop in June 2010.
The Blue Ribbon Committee on Schools is interested in hearing from all those who care about the future of Catholic schools
in the Archdiocese.
The Committee invites comments from the public - including students, parents, teachers, principals, pastors, and others.
