Admissions Testing

Students who missed the testing on December 7th or December 14th should call the Admissions Office of any Catholic high school for further information. To find a list of schools, click here.

All results from the December testing dates will be sent to parents beginning January 8, 2014

Online registration closes November 27, 2013. After this date call the Admissions Office of your preferred testing site to register.

Contact the Director of Secondary Programs for the Archdiocese of Baltimore, Rachel Harkins, with any questions regarding Admissions Testing at 410-547-5549.

In order to be considered for admission to any participating Catholic high school, 8th grade students must take the High School Placement Test (HSPT). There are two dates in December available to take the HSPT.

All 8th grade students are encouraged to pre-register to take the HSPT. The exam will be offered at each Catholic high school on above dates for a $30 fee. Fee must be paid in cash upon arrival on the testing date.

Students can take the test at any Catholic high school and have the option of sending their results to up to three different schools. Registration may be completed online or by completing the registration form and mailing it to the testing site. A hard-copy of the registration form can be found on each school's website and in their Admissions Office. Online registration will close on November 27, 2013. After this date, call the Admissions Office of the testing site to register.

Remember to bring two number 2 pencils and the use of calculators is not permitted during testing.

Check-in begins at 8:30am and the test will begin promptly at 9am and end at approximately 12pm.

Requesting test accommodations: Students with an ISP or IEP requesting accommodations on the placement test must submit the required documentation to the high school test site. Please contact the Admissions Office for more information.
