Veteran priest keeps Emmitsburg in his heart

A priest's day is never dull, according to the Rev. Vincent J. O'Malley of Emmitsburg.

O'Malley in the mid-1970s taught a college-level course — "U.S. poverty, racism and third-world revolution" — in New York's infamous Attica Correctional Facility. It was the same course he taught to his students at Niagara University in New York, the Catholic college where he earned a master's degree in history and worked for 18 years.  (read more)
