Parkton Catholic School Delivers Hundreds of Pounds of Food to Baltimore City First Responders, National Guard Troops

Collected items will be loaded into cruiser of State Trooper & OLG parent at the school on Thursday at 10 a.m.

On Thursday, April 30th at 10:00 a.m., students of Our Lady of Grace Catholic School in Parkton will load the cruiser of State trooper Michael Brady (who is also a parent of an OLGS student) with hundreds of pounds of donated food and drinks collected by the students in just a 24-hour period on behalf of first responders in Baltimore.

The items, brought in by families of the parish and school wishing to assist those in law enforcement who have responded to the crisis in Baltimore, will be delivered to Camden Yards to be distributed to police officers from Baltimore City and other jurisdictions, as well as members of the Maryland National Guard.

Members of the school and parish gathered for a prayer service today at 2 p.m. to pray for Freddie Gray and for all who have been impacted by his death.
