Archbishop Lori to Visit Catholic Charities, Our Daily Bread, Esperanza Center on First Day as Archbishop
Archbishop William E. Lori will spend part of his first day as Archbishop of Baltimore serving meals to clients of Our Daily Bread and touring the Esperanza Center, which provides immigration and legal services to clients in the Fells Point area of Baltimore.
Archbishop Lori will be installed as head of the nation’s oldest Catholic diocese at a Mass at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen in North Baltimore at 2 p.m. today before an estimate 2,000 people.
Archbishop Lori succeeds Edwin Cardinal O’Brien, who served as 15th Archbishop of Baltimore from 2007-2011.

The Archbishop will depart for Esperanza Center, located at 430 S. Broadway, at approximately 1 p.m.
Following the tradition of his predecessors Cardinals Keeler and O’Brien, Archbishop Lori will offer the invocation at Thursday’s Alibi Breakfast at Pimlico Race Course.
