Description: The Second Vatican Council began on October 11, 1962, and we are celebrating Vatican II at 50. On Monday, September 24, at 7:30 p.m., in collaboration with the Mount Saint Agnes Theological Center for Women, “Vatican II – The Women’s Angle” will take place at St. Ignatius Church in the historic Mt. Vernon Cultural District. The evening will feature a panel of women educators who will reflect on the difference that Vatican II made in their lives and in the lives of women in their circles. The panelists are Rosann Catalano, PhD, Mary Jeremy Daigler, RSM, D.Min, Patricia Smith, RSM, PhD, and Margaret M. Strahan, PhD. All are welcome and there is no charge. A reception in the parish hall will follow the presentation. Free parking is available.
