January 2012 Video
I am always inspired by the kind generosity of all supporters of our outreach programs. Yes, donations are needed, but I am also encouraged by the many letters, videos, photos and testimonies that I receive on a regular basis from those who visit our schools in St. Marc, Haiti.
For example, on January 13, the Patten Family traveled to St. Marc to visit Good Samaritans and James Stine College, and to meet the students who benefit from their charitable donation. From their very humble beginnings in the United States, the Patten family has taught their children to share with those less fortunate.
Hannah Patten, 14, impressed me recently with a video she compiled from her trip to St. Marc with her family. Hannah clearly demonstrates the importance of giving and has always been an advocate for children in need. Hannah recently made headlines when she announced that she would donate part of her Equestrian winnings to abused children. It is youth like Hannah that I am thankful to know.
Today, I wanted to share Hannah's video with all supporters of our Haiti outreach and thank everyone for all they do to advance our mission!
