Holy Childhood Association
"Dear boys and girls, missionary activity helps you to grow in faith and makes you joyful disciples of Jesus."
Blessed John Paul II
The Holy Childhood Association (HCA) is one of four Pontifical Mission Societies designated as an official instrument of the Holy Father and of the Universal Roman Catholic Church. Its primary purpose is the promotion of a universal missionary spirit-- a spirit of prayer and sacrifice-- among all baptized Catholics.

Purpose
- To provide opportunities for children in kindergarten through eighth grade to fulfill their baptismal mandate to mission TODAY by sharing their faith with children all over the world
- To teach children about the merits of sharing their love and faith in Jesus with impoverished children through daily prayer, spiritual and financial sacrifices
History
Started in 1843 by Bishop Charles de Forbin-Janson in France with the motto "children helping children," the HCA helps children in more than 110 nations.
The students are taught about different countries where children are in need and what life is like for them. HCA is a unique and special education program that encompasses spiritual formation and religious and social studies education.
