Following Conscience
In making decisions of conscience, we assume Catholics and "all people of good will" will make a serious effort to make truly informed decisions. Studying the best information available is a critical starting point. For Catholics this will include learning what the Catholic Church teaches about a given issues, e.g., capital punishment, family planning, social justice, etc. This study will serve as the foundation for making authentic decisions of conscience.
