Vatican Conference Focuses on the Deaf Community--November 19-21 a conference was held at the Vatican focusing on the ”Life of the Deaf Person in the Church.” This was the first time in the history of the Catholic Church that a conference focused on Deaf people and their life in the church. Deaf people from various countries presented on their experiences in the Catholic Church and how ministry with Deaf persons and their families can be improved.
