The Department of Management Services provides system-wide resources for the administration of the Archdiocese of Baltimore. The Department is charged with the responsibility of providing services that enable administrators to fulfill the financial, technical, legal and collegial requirements for parish, school, and institutional management. The Department advances the mission of the Church through planning, stewardship of resources and providing structures for effective management on parish and Archdiocesan levels.
In particular, the Department assists administrators through the following divisions:
- Division of Facilities Management
- Division of Fiscal Services
- Office of Risk Management
- Division of Information Technology
The Department’s activities serve all levels of Archdiocesan structure.
Taken as a whole, the Department indirectly assists every parishioner, supports all Archdiocesan employees, and provides the infrastructure that enables Church leaders to be pastoral, effective, and efficient in their administrative roles.
